Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Tech Records and Planning Manager to join our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) team. This role is crucial for ensuring the meticulous maintenance of technical records and the effective planning of aircraft maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of aviation regulations and standards.

The candidate must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date aircraft technical records.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage the documentation of maintenance activities, modifications, and inspections.
  • Coordinate with maintenance personnel to verify the completion and accuracy of records.

Maintenance Planning:

  • Develop and manage maintenance schedules for the fleet.
  • Plan and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with engineering and operations teams to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor aircraft utilisation and adjust maintenance plans as necessary.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay updated on aviation regulations and standards.
  • Ensure all technical records and maintenance activities comply with the relevant airworthiness regulations.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Utilise maintenance management software to track and report on aircraft status.
  • Generate regular reports on aircraft airworthiness and maintenance activities, including reliability.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Act as a point of contact for technical records and planning-related queries.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
  • Provide support during aircraft induction and redelivery processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft technical records and maintenance planning.
  • Comprehensive understanding of EASA/CAA regulations.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software (e.g., AMOS, OASES).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant aviation qualification or certification is preferred.

Technical Records Analyst (Engine Focus)

  • Location:  Hybrid role with a requirement to be at the office 3 days a week minimum: Ednaston Park, Ashbourne.

We are seeking a motivated individual with at least 5 years of relevant experience to join our Powerplant team, focusing on engine technical records.

Role Overview:

This exciting and critical role will enable you to provide a high level of service to our customers whilst mitigating technical risk. You will be responsible for ensuring high data accuracy in technical records received from customers and maintenance providers whilst maintaining our related digital systems. Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of Accurate Records: Ensure all technical records for aircraft engines are meticulously maintained, including maintenance logs, repair histories, modification records, and overhaul data.
  • Data Management and Integrity: Accurately enter and update information in the maintenance management system, including hours of operation, cycles, and life-limited parts tracking. Regularly audit and verify the accuracy and completeness of engine records.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all records comply with regulations and other relevant aviation authorities’ requirements, managing records in accordance with Overseas Territories Aviation Requirements (OTARs) when applicable.
  • Lease Management: Review and prepare engine records during sales, purchases, lease returns and transitions ensuring maximum asset value is maintained. Maintain and provide necessary documentation for mid-lease inspections.
  • Digital System Management: Manage and update the digital systems used for maintaining technical records, ensuring data security and integrity. Organise and manage both digital and hard copy records for easy retrieval and compliance audits.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including airlines, lessors, regulatory bodies, and MROs, to ensure all parties have access to accurate and timely engine records. Collaborate with other departments within the organisation to align maintenance activities with overall airworthiness strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve record-keeping processes and systems to enhance efficiency and compliance. Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices for technical records management.

Required experience:

  • Experience: At least 5 years’ experience working with Technical Records with a focus on engines.
  • Technical Knowledge: Relevant experience in Aircraft or Engine Leasing, Airline Engineering, MRO, or a Technical Advisory firm. Familiarity with aircraft/engine maintenance processes and records.
  • Regulatory Expertise: In-depth understanding of the main regulatory authorities for records-keeping and transfer of aircraft continuing airworthiness records. Good knowledge of IATA Guidance Material and Best Practices for Aircraft Leases.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using Aircraft Maintenance Management Software.
  • Communication: Strong internal and external communication skills. Capable of managing customer expectations and activities.
  • Analytical Ability: Diligent and detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
  • Self-Management: Ability to work independently, flexible and with initiative.
